Everyone loves a furry blue monster.
The Cookie Monster is a muppet on the children’s television show Sesame Street. He is best known for eating cookies and yelling, “Me want cookie!,” “Me eat cookie!” and “Om nom nom nom.”
The Cookie Monster may love cookies, but he eats everything. We wonder will we see more cupcakes in his future? The Cookie Monster cupcake is quite tasty and everyone should try at least once. Lucky for you, we’ve got directions on how to make them. Check it out below.
Ingredients:
Cupcakes Frosting Food coloring or icing color; Star tip and pastry bag; Cookies such as Mini Chips Ahoy or regular Chips Ahoy cut in half Brown; M&M’s White disc candy such as white chocolate melts (use the flat side)
Directions via Everyday Eating and Birds on a Cake:
First, cut a slit into the cupcake.
2. Insert cookie and start icing with a small star tip. Pipe frosting fur all over the cupcake.
3. Attach the brown M&M (pupils) to the white disks by either “gluing” together with a dab of frosting.
4. Melt a few candy melts. Put a dab on the back of a chocolate chip, and stick it
on the flat side of a candy melt. Put a dollop of frosting on the backs of 2
candy melts, and give Cookie Monster some eyes.
5. Stick the eyes down into the cupcake.
